Tales & Scales (www.talesandscales.org) is the nation’s only musictelling ensemble. Founded and located in Evansville, Indiana in 1986, Tales & Scales is an innovative professional arts organization that ignites the imaginations of young people through a unique blend of music, story, theater, and creative movement called musictelling. Tales & Scales professional artists maintain a full-time schedule reaching over 20,000 young people each year through performances, classroom workshops, residencies, and an annual summer camp. Tales & Scales tours primarily locally and regionally – but also nationally – to schools, libraries, community centers, arts centers, and periodically performs with symphony orchestras.
