Many people worry that to be a Tales & Scales volunteer, they must possess some special expertise as an educator or performer. Though some of our volunteers do possess such expertise, a great many more offer their support simply through the gift of their time and energy as Tales & Scales enthusiasts. They help plan fund raising events, assist with Camp Imagination, support our administrative staff, print our brochures and news letters, mentor new troup members, and even develop content for our website! Who knows, you might be exactly what we need to help make this season our best one ever!
Internships are generally reserved for students wishing to augment their college curricula with practical experience in more specific areas as working members of an arts education organization. Interns work as assistants to Tales & Scales staff members in disciplines such as marketing communications, bookings, development, and information technology. If these areas are consistent with your educational objectives, please contact us to obtain more information for specific opportunities available this season.
