We are seeking a Junior Camp Assistant who is:

In High School, has an interest in music, theater, and the performing arts; enjoys working with children; available to work from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm from Monday, July 7 through Friday, July 11 and again from Monday July 14 through Friday July 18th on the University of Evansville Campus - 1800 Lincoln Avenue, Evansville, IN (Wheeler Concert Hall and Krannert Hall of Fine Arts). There will be a manditory orientation / training meeting shortly before camp begins. The time and place of the meeting will be announced shortly.

Job duties include:

Assist Tales & Scales troupe with camp activities; supervise children (ages 6-12 regular camp; 4&5 mini-camp) during all activities and scheduled snack / lunch breaks; help with crowd control / bathroom breaks, etc.; remain alert and aware of what the children are doing at all times; encourage children to perform throughout the week; be prepared to help out with anything asked of you; remember that you are a role model for these children and must act accordingly; and Have Fun!

You will need to bring:
Lunch for each day; comfortable clothes (no flip-flops); and a smile.
Compensation

This is a volunteer position. You will receive a Camp Imagination T-shirt which you will be required to wear on Monday (first day of camp), Tuesday (picture day), and Friday (performance day)...you may wear it on Wednesday and Thursday if you would like, but it is not required. You may also count time worked toward Community Service Hours required for Graduation.
